![]() ![]() I also realized I wasn’t patching right before, and the ISO I had was already pre-patched with the DW style, so I’m not sure if that might be why I’m having some text issues. If I repatched it with the other style, would my save still be compatible? I know it’s kinda picky, but I’ve only played DQ, and haven’t actually touched any of the DW versions of the games, so the names actually confuse me a bit.ĮDIT: I got the DQ style patch to use DQ nomenclature, but now there’s missing text and the game crashes when I talk to some people. ![]() So, I’m just wondering, right now, are both patches DW style, or does the DQ style still use a lot of the DW names? The other possibility I was wondering is if the patches are accidentally swapped on the page. I even redownloaded the patch to make extra sure and it has (1) next to it, indicating I’ve downloaded it already. I already have, and both the link I clicked and the file clearly say “DQ Style.” So I’m positive I clicked the right patch. I know people are going to say there’s the option for either, and I should make sure I didn’t download the DW patch by mistake. This Game is English (USA) Version and is the highest quality. I downloaded the translation patch last night, and I’ve been playing V, but it seems to be using more of the DW names instead of the DQ names.
